Returning Parts for Repair
All Battery Charger and Auto Eject service repairs are covered by a 180 Day Warranty Period, while Auto Pump service repairs are covered by a 90 Day Warranty Repair. For your convenience, we offer a Repair Charge Price List on the majority of our products. If an item exceeds the cost on the Repair Charge Price List, you will be notified first for authorization to proceed, otherwise you will be automatically charged the Repair Charge plus the cost of shipping the item back. This Repair Charge Price List is provided to let you know what the cost of having you runit repaired before you even send it in. We will not provide an estimate before repairing your unit. Replacement parts on older models may not be available, in this case we will offer you a trade in allowance towards a new unit.
When sending an item back for repair, please download and fill out the appropriate Interactive Form For Returning Parts below. These forms allows you to Fill-In all of the Information online instead of hand-writing everything out. When you click on one of the files below, the form will open up on your screen. Clicking on "Highlight Fields" on the upper right corner of the screen will Highlight all the fields that need to be filled-in. Then print out the form and send it back with the item(s).
Once the unit has been received by Kussmaul, the unit will be repaired and shipped back within 3 Business Days.
We will not provide an estimate before repairing your unit.
Expedited Repair Service:
If a faster turnaound time is needed, we do offer an expedited service. Please call: 800-346-0857 and speak to a sales representative for approval and RMA number.
If your unit is found to be beyond economical repair, you will be contacted immediately to determine if you would like us to scrap the unit or have it returned to you at no charge. If 10 business days have passed without a response, the unit will be returned unrepaired at your expense. Your prompt reply to this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Returning Parts for Credit
If sending an item back for Credit, please contact a Kussmaul Sales Representative to obtain a Credit Authorization Number. All items sent back to Kussmaul for credit without a Credit Authorization Number may result in being returned back to the customer at the customer's expense.
Restocking fees may apply to all items being returned for credit.
